Ricoh D5500 Interactive Whiteboard

An interactive whiteboard that can be used in small groups to stimulate interaction. This interactive whiteboard can be used for drawing and making notes. These notes can be distributed to others who were not able to be present. You can show pictures, zoom in and make notes on top of the pictures and save them for later use. Furthermore the interactive whiteboard will be connected to another D5500 to synchronise working and learning with students who are in another area on or off campus. The D5500 will also be connected to our video conferencing system so that you can see the other students with whom you are collaborating.

3D Printing

We will demonstrate in detail how 3D printing works technically. Furthermore we will also explain in detail how 3D printing can be applied in educational situations and in a learning context.

Viewing Platform

The viewing platform can be used to get a visual overview of the flexible and personal learning zone and you are able to see how to structure and setup such an interactive classroom. You will get a view of which learning elements can be part of an interactive classroom. Furthermore there will also be video learning books and tablets available to consume learning content we have specificly made for primary and secondary education.

Projector Station

Here we will demonstrate 3 Ricoh ultra short-throw projectors which are able to project images onto a black background – the Interactive Blackboard solution. The Interactive Blackboard merges the existing analogue facility of a blackboard with the digital technology of an ultra short-throw projector to create a complete new learning experience.
At this station kids and adults will able to use chalk to draw great pictures that are projected onto the blackboard.

Ricoh Theta

In this zone we will also present Ricoh Theta – a 360 degree camera that can be used for educational purposes. The 360 degree camera provides a totally different viewing experience and is fun to use. Come to our stand and find out for yourself.

Learning Furniture

We will show different set-ups of how our learning furniture can be used to structure the interactive classroom. One tablet table is set-up using a u-shape. Here you will be able to easily store and access tablets. At this learning station we will demonstrate Ricoh Smart Presenter a learning solution that can be used to share learning content with other students using tablets. You can easily switch presenters, make notes on the learning content and use it for quick assessments and questionaires. Ricoh smart presenter will also be connected to the Ricoh interactive projector so that you are able to present to a wider audience as well.

Interactive Learning Table

We will demonstrate the interactive learning table using learning content developed specifically for primary and secondary education. The interactive learning table can be used for small groups and the display can be adjusted from table position to an upright position. It encourages collaborative working and has a number of applications that can be used to facilitate this.

Mobile Learning

Picture this: you have a 5-minute coffee break. You take your mobile phone, you learn a few small pieces of material by answering a few questions and you get feedback on your answers. How easy is that?

Game Based Learning
