Presentation on Ricoh’s approach to Innovation & future technology trends, followed up by interactive discussion between customers and R&D researchers on Service Automation by Social Imaging, Polarisation techniques for image enhancement, machine-learning algorithms for abnormality detection & optical modules for driving assistance.
During this session, attendees will have the opportunity to see in action a range of Ricoh’s interconnected technologies, helping an organisation’s agile workforce to collaborate more effectively between themselves, their customers and their suppliers. Interoperability, integration, VC device management & multipoint connectivity will be discussed and demonstrated.
Attendees will have the opportunity to receive progress updates on a range of Ricoh technologies and solutions (e.g. SLNX), an overview of Additive manufacturing technologies, processes & materials, as well as an update on the latest RE’s Service Strategy.
Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss Ricoh’s Network Service Platform (NSP) concept and how it can be leveraged to benefit the cloud-centric MFP with cloud services such as Office365 or Google Apps Office, and how effective smart cloud data utilisation could be used to guarantee/improve service utilization.
A range of smart apps for Ricoh’s next generation touch-panel User Interface (UI) will be demonstrated, including smart device connector, remote assistant, scan to voice and @remote signage. The concept of “MyMFP” will also be explored along with demonstrations of how customer feedback from eTAC-14 shaped the newly designed MPF panel User Interface (UI).
During this session, we’ll be discussing how data-capturing algorithms and techniques turn a smart phone or tablet into a sophisticated scanning device, not only capturing a document, but also enhancing the clarity/quality of the document and extracting specific data improving document workflow.
